Seeding Our Liberation, OPAL’s political education program, is launching a new project: the Just Transition Learning Series. These monthly meetings will offer a five-part, unifying framework for how we can advance a just transition. We will dive into topics like the pillars of a feminist economy, democratic workplaces and renewable resources, how our work to shift the culture can look, and how community members can stay involved with guiding the Just Transition.
Seeding Our Liberation prioritizes the political education and liberation of Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. Our work is grounded in grassroots feminism, anti-imperialism, and the principles of a just transition from an extractive economy to one that is regenerative, grounded in cooperation and caring.
