OPAL Organizing Fellowship – developing leadership for the future of environmental justice
It’s time to train the next cohort of the OPAL Organizing Fellowship! We are accepting applications now for the next group of movement leaders. The cohort will begin their training on July 5th, and will be organizing with OPAL for 20 hours monthly, for approximately six months.
Click here to download the application. Support with application filing is available from BRU Organizer Orlando Lopez – call 503 774 4504 or email orlando@opalpdx.org. We highly encourage applications from transit-dependent people, and communities facing environmental racism, economic exploitation, militarism, or climate change.
This cohort will work alongside OPAL’s organizers and members to build our base and organize people and resources behind community-led changes to make Portland’s decision-makers work for our communities.
