OPAL is proud to present our 2017 Annual Report! This year, we decided to create a consolidated publication to share our many victories from the past year with our community. OPAL tackles many different issues around Environmental Justice, but in this one place you can see how all of our work comes together to achieve our goal of creating a safer, healthier environment where our communities can live, work, learn, play, and pray. Some highlights from the past year include securing a low-income fare on TriMet, expansion of YouthPass to East Portland, leading a statewide coalition to win Inclusionary Zoning for Oregon cities, and organizing The People’s March for Climate in April.
