Gratitude for Oregon’s Movement

OPAL is proud to once again host our annual Thank-A-Thon! On November 30th and December 1st from 4pm to 7pm, we will gather at the OPAL office to spread a message of thanks to everyone who has touched OPAL this year. We will call partners, members, donors, volunteers, and friends of our work and movement. We’ll say “thank you,” and invite folx to the OPAL Holiday Party on December 14th at City Hall. It’s some of the easiest phone banking you’ll ever do, and a great opportunity to build community with our broad base of supporters.

Will you join us for a phone bank on 11/30 or 12/1? Email to RSVP.

All month long, OPAL will highlight stories of Oregonians building a strong social justice movement for the long term. We’re so thankful to be one among many organizations doing world-changing work at Oregon’s frontlines, building a popular resistance to environmental racism, economic exploitation, and climate change. We thank you for reading and supporting OPAL when you volunteer, invest, and spread the word.

Do you have a story of Oregonians fighting back against the extractive, exploitative economy? We want to hear it. Email and tell us who we should thank during this season of gratitude. We’re happy to uplift these stories and maintain our close connection and interdependence with the communities of color and low-income who resist, build, and rise up in the face of global and local crisis.

Thank you!
